In our descriptive writing we have tried to use a music video to influence us and help us develop our skills. We used the video below for lots of deducing and inferring and this helped us to share our ideas about the story behind the music. We then spent a few days writing and editing our work to make it fit with the music.

Improvisation and role play
We have read chapter 1 of our story and have used our skills to act out different scenes. This helped us to explore Ayesha's feelings and emotions. It was quite hard to truly understand how she would be feeling.

It's Booker Prize time!
This week we are writing our short stories to be entered into our annual school competition.
The children have been provided with a story starter this year to get them started and have a 500 word limit.
