Today we had our maths party. We decorated cakes, made cocktails, bowled, threw, sang and did all sorts of fun puzzles. Maths is so much fun!
Guess what? SATs are over and we have aced them!! We had a big party to celebrate.
As SATs are coming up, we have been making one another good luck cards. We put rangoli pattern on the front as we have been learning about how some people believe that they can bring good luck. Fingers crossed for next week but whatever happens, we have all worked incredibly hard and deserve huge amount of praise.
Today we have been talking about what stress is, how it effects our mental and how to deal with it. This is especially important for us as we approach exams, secondary and puberty.
Here we are looking after our mental health by having fun..

We are walking, running, skipping or jumping a mile a day for sports relief this week. Tuesday’s mile took place in the sunshine.
Friday was time for My Choice, a day of lessons teaching us about making good choices in our teenage years. You can see the fun we got up to below. Quiz us about what it taught us.
Thursday 1st March was world book day. We went off time table with a range of fun activities. You can see us completing some of our tasks below. We had a nice time completing a book hunt and talking about the characters who inspire us in books and what we can learn from them.

Today, year six made the teachers and other pupils incredibly proud during our talent show. Every entry was absolutely amazing. Well done guys!
Today was Christmas party day in 6m. The children enjoyed sprucing up the room, playing some games and sharing some tasty food. Thanks to mums and dads for their contribution!
Christmas has come to 6m. Mr Stopforth made us a fabulous tree for our door so we have decorated our own baubles for it. You can enjoy our creations below.
Today, 6M made Mrs Moody and their parents very proud. It was class assembly day. They have spent two weeks researching, writing, acting, singing and drawing. This culminated in an incredible show. They taught us all about films and how to make them. All of the children performed with confidence and their assembly was funny and entertaining. You can see some snippets of it below. Well done 6M!
November 10th is our class assembly. We are starting to prepare for it and are very excited. What will the topic be?
We are determined to be more independent learners this year. To start as we mean to go on, we discussed ways that we can be independent in the classroom and how to get help if we get stuck. We created some very impressive songs which you can see a sample of below.
6M have been enjoying getting to know each other again after the holiday. We will be working together on a lot of tasks this year so we have been practising our speaking and listening skills by playing lots of games together.
In our first lessons as a class, we have been discussing our aims for the Year. We have created a display to share our goals for the year.
