Year 5/6 Indoor Athletics 10.12.21

Well done to all the boys and girls who represented our school in City Finals of the Indoor Athletics. 25 pupils took part and demonstrated excellent team work, dedication and effort. They finished 3rd in the overall competition and have qualified to represent Liverpool in the Merseyside Games in March. 🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The girls played some excellent games of football and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Well done girls 

Our children are performing extremely well in this years Cross Country League. We are currently sitting at the top of the league. Our running club on a Tuesday and Friday is paying off.

On the 4th October, a team of Year 5 and 6 girls competed in the first rounds of the LSSP City Competitions. The 7-aside format saw our girls play in a mini league against 5 other schools. The 8 minute games were frenetic and exciting. For some of our girls, competitive football was a new experience but they all adapted quickly and put in some superb performances, learning from each game played. Conceding only one goal all afternoon and winning 4 out of the 5 matches, the girls finished 2nd in their league and now qualify for the City Finals on the 18th. 

Y4 School Games Values Dodgeball 29.9.21

 

Some of Year 4 pupils took part in an 'Inspire' competition which is a pathway competition. The children played some great games of dodgeball and thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the process. 

Liverpool South Cup Winners! The boys will go on to play the winners of North Liverpool on the 5th November. 

Congratulations to the children who took part in the Table Tennis competition this afternoon. All three teams made it through to the City Finals. We are proud of all our newbies who took part in their first ever competition. Well done Booker. 

First time ever! All girl Tag Rugby game against Liverpool College. Booker won all four matches. A super afternoon for all involved. Well done girls. 

The children competed in the Elite Indoor Athletics Competition at SFX. 27 children took part and they all performed fantastically finishing in 2nd place. Their success takes us forward to the City Finals in January 2020. Well done to all the boys and girls.
