Dear Booker Children,
I know that the past few weeks have been strange, confusing and sometimes a bit scary for everyone. You have all been amazingly brave through it all. Your teachers have been telling and showing me how hard you have been working online; what a great job you have done!
You will have recently heard in the news, or from your parents and carers, that schools are beginning to get ready to welcome children back. We don't yet know exactly when that will be for everyone, but I want to let you know that I and all the staff are going to be working hard over the next couple of weeks to prepare for that to happen. We want to make sure that we can keep you and your families safe.
When we do return, it will be not be for all of you at the same time. Year 6 will be first so we can help them get ready for their new schools in September. If you are in Year 6, do not worry if you hear that schools in other places are starting before us, your teachers will continue to do their very best for you until we can get you into school. For everyone else, we will all be back together just as soon as we possibly can.
Until then, just keep doing what you have been doing. Stay safe at home, enjoy time with your families and carers and show your teachers how fantastic you are online !
Well done everyone !
