Dear Parents and Carers,
Over the past week and a half, since our school has been closed, the teachers and I have been amazed by your response to our home learning solutions.
The overwhelming majority of our children have been engaging with their teachers on a daily or regular basis. Thank you so much for your support with this, we know this will have presented you with challenges as parents.
As I am sure you can imagine, there is a considerable amount of work being put in by the teaching staff to set tasks and provide feedback and I want to thank them for that.
As we move through this very challenging period, please bear the following in mind:
Therefore, please do not be concerned if there is sometimes a delay in tasks being set or even if a day is missed; teachers will get back to you when they can.
Next week, and the week after are what would have been the Easter Holidays. Many of our staff will be continuing to work during this period to man the Childcare Hubs.
We will be giving everyone a break from the home learning as would have been the case in normal circumstances. Your child's teacher may post a few communications to keep spirits up or to suggest useful activities but there will not be daily tasks. These will resume on 20th April.
I wish all of you and your families good health and hope that you all stay safe,
Mr Thompson
