Dear Parents and Carers
As you know, school will close tomorrow Friday 20th March. We await further guidance about children of key workers and will provide you with information as soon as we have it.
If your child is in school today, they will bring home a learning pack for use during the school’s closure.
If your child is not currently in school, you will be receiving the same resources over the next few days. This will either be via e-mail or home delivery. Please just wait for these to come to you; there is no need to ask the school office as they are inundated with other tasks to do. We will make sure that every child receives what is needed.
Each year group or teacher has included a sheet which explains what to do and how to use the resources.
Some of the resources are in paper form but we will be providing on-going learning opportunities through the ‘Seesaw’ platform as a main form of communication. Many of the children are already familiar with this and the packs contain details about how to access it and use it.
If you receive your pack today (Thursday) could you try and test out the Seesaw app / website tonight to ensure your child can access the areas they need to?
The packs also contain suggested timetables and activities for the period that school may be closed.
The school website will be used to give the latest news and the ‘Parents’ section will contain further information about home learning over the next few days. Our text service will continue to provide updates.
Thank you all for your continued support.
